My Strategy
For more than 20 years, I dedicated my career to conservation through nature-based education and public engagement, working to connect people—especially youth—to the natural world. As a program manager with the National Park Service, I nurtured partnerships, developed programs that reached thousands of students, and secured over a million dollars in grant funding to expand environmental education efforts.
Over time, I realized that while I loved inspiring people through education, I could create an even greater impact by securing the resources that organizations need to bring their missions to life. This realization led me to transition from educator to grant strategist, combining my deep understanding of nonprofit needs with my ability to craft compelling narratives.
Today, I help community-building organizations navigate the complex world of grants, turning big ideas into fundable projects. Through research, storytelling, and strategy, I empower organizations to secure funding with confidence—eliminating the guesswork and uncertainty that often accompany grant pursuits. My approach is rooted in the same passion that first led me to conservation: a belief that small, consistent efforts can lead to lasting, meaningful change.
